The District Department of
Transportation has taken the following actions in response to requests from
ANC3D:
# to perform a study to determine if an all-way Stop sign is warranted at
intersection of 46th and W Streets. If warranted, DDOT will "move quickly"
to install the signs.
# To install a "o Not Enter" sign for morning rush hours at 47th Place and
MacArthur to deter short-cutting-rush hour traffic. Before installing the
sign, an amendment must be approved to the D.C. Municipal Regulations. "The
legal process required to amend the regulations, after consideration is
given to all comments received, takes several months to complete."
