Concerns
The
following issues* will be discussed and voted on (if necessary)
1. St. Patrick’s School
request for a new cap on faculty/staff reflecting current numbers.
(their BZA hearing is December 2nd so it must be heard in November).
2.. Discussion and vote on proposed order by DDOT’s Office of Traffic
Services Administration to remove, at the request of The Lab School,
zone parking on a section of Whitehaven Parkway to provide public
parking for the school’s staff.
3. Airplane noise – Consideration of a proposed letter from ANC3D to
airplane noise study group commissioned by FAA on impact of aircraft
noise and air pollution upon ANC3D’s jurisdiction.
4. Palisades Market – 4554 MacArthur Boulevard – renewal of class B
license –
5. BZA # 17089 James Guchner, 5822 Sherier Place NW. has applied to BZA
for a variance from the rear yard requirements, a variance from the open
court requirements and a variance from the nonconforming structure
provisions to allow a two story addition to a single family dwelling.
6. Consideration of submission by ANC3D to City Council and Mayor of
major problems confronting jurisdiction of ANC3D, an annual report
authorized in the ANC Act.
