7:00 - Opening of Meeting – Congratulations to returning and new commissioners

7:05 - Police Report 

7:15 - Community Concerns

 

7:30 - Kelly McAuley – Corporate Relations Director for the Lawyers Have Heart 10K June 13, 2009)  will discuss routes, street closures etc. 

 

7:40 - Lt. Egan from the DC fire department will discuss fire hydrants that are functioning and will detail those that need repair

 

8:00 - DDOT will make a presentation about proposed repairs on Canal Road at Chain Bridge. - Muhammed Khalid

 

8:15:  Public Space Application – 4800 U Street NW. for the purpose of installation of sidewalk, curb and gutter, retaining wall, 7 driveways, steps in public space, applying for new building

 

8:25 – Public Space Application – 5059 Sherier Place NW.  Remove existing apron, install new driveway, curb and gutter and lead walk. 

 

8:40 - Zoning Case # 08-21 – Application for consolidated review and approval of a planned unit development (PUD) and zoning map amendment at 4460 MacArthur Blvd. The property to be redeveloped is the site of Riverside Hospital.  The Applicant (The

Athena Group) is proposing to maintain the area of the original PUD R-5-A Zone and to further extend it to the south to include property currently located in the R-1-B Zone, and to build approximately 37 three and four story townhouses on the 120,994 square foot plot.
